Description

Your to-do list is infinite - if you do your job well, it will never end. Yet most of us keep working as though one more push will clear the decks, quietly eroding our wellbeing in the process. This webinar reframes productivity around a simple truth: your list is endless, your cognitive capacity is finite, and sustainable academic work depends on protecting the hours you already have rather than manufacturing new ones.

In this session, we explore:

  • Build a routine that holds up during constant change
  • Ride the productivity wave — optimise the highs, respect the lows
  • Understand cognitive fatigue and how attention really works
  • Do your best work first — before reactive tasks eat your best hours
  • Navigate the balancing act of families and research
  • Build to-do lists that are actually realistic
  • Use strategic breaks to protect focus and clarity
