Karriereforum for Postdocs

03.02.2022

Postdoc funding programs for your (inter)national research: The 22nd Karriereforum for postdoctoral researchers within the University Alliance Ruhr will take place online on 24 and 25 March 2022. Talk with experts and successful applicants about third-party funding opportunities and the basic steps of a grant writing process! Registrations are open until 6 March.

Which funding program suits my research project? How can I finance a research stay abroad? What do I have to consider when applying for third-party funding? The first day of our virtual Karriereforum will provide a well-founded overview of the funding landscape in Germany. Personal insights from experienced applicants and individual advice from your university's research support staff complement the overview.

On the second day, consultants from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will provide detailed insights into their funding opportunities. In addition, an interactive input by Dr. Beate Scholz, a renowned expert and reviewer in the field of scientific career development and third-party funding strategies, invites you to reflect on your individual situation.

This event is aimed at University Alliance Ruhr's postdoctoral researchers and doctoral researchers in the final stage of their PhD. Your participation is free of charge.

Please register here by 6 March.
