Dialogue

Science Meets Business

Our Dialogue brings together doctoral researchers and a leading expert from the world of business for an informal exchange on current career issues and social developments over lunch.

What does Dialogue offer you?

This annual format offers you the opportunity to discuss current career-relevant topics and trends in business and society with a distinguished personality. You will also gain first-hand insight into the activities, strategies and decision-making processes of well-known companies and institutions.

The informal and rather personal setting of the meetings allows for an intensive discussion. Please bring your questions with you! The participating business representatives are very much interested in an open dialogue and in your individual opinion.

Who can participate?

The event is aimed at doctoral researchers of all disciplines of Ruhr-Universität Bochum, TU Dortmund University, and the University of Duisburg-Essen. As we would like to provide you with a chance of a personal contact to our guest, we limit the number of participants to 20 persons.

The event is usually conducted in German, but you are welcome to participate with questions in English.

From the humanities to the automotive industry – actively shaping your career
