Calling international postdocs from all disciplines: This is your chance to spend three months at a UA Ruhr university to prepare a joint third-party funding application. We are offering a monthly scholarship of €1,500 for stays in 2026. Apply in collaboration with a committed host by 22 March.

You are eligible for funding if you completed your doctorate no more than three years ago. We accept postdoctoral researchers from all academic disciplines who are currently based outside of Germany.

Prepare your application now and reach out to a potential host. This could be a professor, junior professor, or junior research group leader from Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University, or the University of Duisburg-Essen. Ask them for a letter of invitation with a brief description of your research project. In addition, you will need a work plan.

Our funding consists of a monthly scholarship of €1,500 for three consecutive months in 2026. Co-financing from other sources is possible.
