Event "Eine Wissenschaftlerin - zwei Perspektiven": Prof. Dr. Susanne Menzel-Riedl (President of Osnabrück University and former mentor of the mentoring³ program) was a guest at an online exchange with the three current doctoral researchers lines on 30 January 2024.

She very openly shared her personal experiences with career paths in science, which she has acquired in various positions. This also resulted in the opportunity to take on different perspectives on the topic and convey them to the female doctoral researchers. In the interview format, Prof. Dr. Menzel-Riedl reported on her career as a first-time academic, on successes, opportunities and good decisions, but also on doubts, challenges and failures. She herself was a mentor in the mentoring³ program from 2020 to 2022, the relevance of which she considers to be very high. You can find the report on the event here (German language).
