Is a doctorate the right thing for me? And if so, how do I get started and how do I organize my "project doctorate"? Our digital Frühjahrsakademie on 15–17 March 2022 will help students interested in doctoral studies and early doctoral candidates answer these questions and prepare for the exciting time of pursuing a doctorate. Registrations are open until 20 February!

During this three-day event, experts from the graduate institutions of the UA Ruhr universities and experienced trainers will help you find your bearings and make informed decisions. The first day mainly provides information and clarifies the most frequently asked questions about doctoral studies, but also offers first-hand experience reports. On the following two days, we will offer various workshops, e.g. on the topics of writing an exposé, time management, networking, or presenting.

The Frühjahrsakademie is aimed at students interested in doctoral research and doctoral candidates in the early stages of their studies at the UA Ruhr universities in Bochum, Dortmund, and Duisburg-Essen. Participation is free of charge. The registration deadline is 20 February.
