The workshop offer of the Research Academy for all postdocs and the junior faculty of the UA Ruhr in the winter semester 2025/2026 has been published. The program consists mainly of short workshops. They are held online in English or German. Registration for all events is now open.

In the coming winter semester, we will again be offering a comprehensive workshop program for postdocs from all disciplines in the following subject areas

• Careers inside and outside academia
• Leadership, supervision and management skills
• Acquiring third-party funding

Supported by professional trainers, you will have the opportunity to develop strategies for dealing with the challenges of your future research activities. In addition, participation in the workshops offers the opportunity to exchange ideas and network with postdocs from all universities in the University Alliance Ruhr. Our program Junior Faculty in Focus deals thematically with challenges for the career goal of professorship - currently, with a particular focus on the appointment procedure. In addition, each member of the Junior Faculty (habilitation candidates, junior research group leaders, and junior professors) can take advantage of an one-on-one individual coaching session on topics such as appointment, strategic career planning, leadership or supervision (duration 1 hour).
