Launched many years ago as “Wirtschaftskolleg”, the event brings together doctoral students and postdocs from the University Alliance Ruhr with representatives from business and society. As alumni of RUB, TU Do, and UDE, they report on their personal experiences, challenges, and careers in business and society. This year's focus is on the importance of networks for professional success and personal well-being. After a keynote speech, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas in subject-specific groups with employees from Glim Skin, Stadtwerke Bochum, RWE, Stadt Herne, HSBC Continental Europe, and many more.

Research Academy Ruhr (RAR) is the cross-university platform of Ruhr-Universität Bochum, TU Dortmund University, and the University of Duisburg-Essen for promoting early career researchers in the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr).
