The Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize is considered one of the most important awards for postdoctoral researchers and Junior Faculty pursuing an academic career. From now on, the prize will be awarded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the prize money will be increased from 20,000 to 200,000 euros starting in 2023. Nominations for the 2023 selection round can be submitted until October 26.
