Are you interested in discussing your professional development with experienced researchers? Would you like to gain additional informal knowledge about structures and rules of the game in academia and broaden your perspective? If so, our mentoring program for female researchers, mentoring³, is the right thing for you! In the fall of 2021, a new group for postdocs and postdoctoral researchers will start, working together over a period of two years. Apply by 15 July!

The program is made up of three components:

Mentorship
In trusting one-on-one conversations with your academic mentor, you will gain insight into important experience and action knowledge for orientation in academia. Experienced scientists and professors act as mentors.

Workshops
In workshops on interdisciplinary, subject group-specific, and career-relevant topics, you will have the opportunity to prepare for leadership tasks in university and non-university research, to develop your personal career strategy and to expand your key competencies.

Network meeting
In the subject-specific mentoring group, of which you will be a member for two years, you will be able to build a sustainable and cross-university network of female early career researchers.

The call is aimed at female postdoctoral researchers and habilitation candidates at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, TU Dortmund University and the University of Duisburg-Essen (UA Ruhr) from the humanities, social sciences, engineering, and natural sciences. The application deadline is 15 July.
