A warm welcome to our explorers from around the world! This year\'s Research Explorer Ruhr has to start remotely, but we will definitely make the best of it.
The first of two cohorts started on 23 November with an online workshop on the German research and funding landscape. The second cohort will meet for the first time next Wednesday. We hope that the originally planned on-site stays can follow soon.
Research Explorer Ruhr is a summer program for international Postdocs that gives them the opportunity to spend two weeks working with a chair of their choice within the University Alliance Ruhr. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year\'s Explorer had to be postponed until the end of the year and is now taking place remotely.
Planning for the coming year is currently still ongoing.

Research Academy Ruhr (RAR) is the cross-university platform of Ruhr-Universität Bochum, TU Dortmund University, and the University of Duisburg-Essen for promoting early career researchers in the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr).
