Aber wie fange ich das an und bin ich für Unternehmen überhaupt interessant? Um Wissenschaftler*innen auf dem Karriereweg Entscheidungshilfen zu geben, hatten wir vor zwei Jahren connecting.ruhr ins Leben gerufen. Am 7. Juli 2026 ging es dafür in die dritte Runde.
Within Research Academy, RUB Research School, the Graduate Center TU Dortmund University, and the Graduate Center Plus of the University of Duisburg-Essen combine and bundle their expertise. All activities offered under the umbrella of Research Academy are based on close cooperation and regular exchange of experience.
The joint interdisciplinary qualification offers and career events prepare early career researchers for a career in research, business, and society. All offers also promote the mutual exchange of ideas, both within specific research fields and across individual disciplines.
The Ruhr Graduate School in Economics (RGS Econ) is a co-operation project of the three UA Ruhr economics faculties with the participation of the Leibniz Institute for Economic Research (RWI) and part of the Research Academy. It offers a structured doctoral programme in the field of economics, including research-oriented courses, workshops and conferences.
