Description

Academic life is a precarious one for many people. Contracts are short-term, mobility is expected, and the future often feels outside of our control. We are forever facing challenges and constant change.

Over time, these uncertainty and instability can take a toll. Worry, anxiety, self-doubt, can begin to settle in. In this webinar, we explore how to navigate the pervasive uncertainty of academic careers with resilience and intention. Rather than seeking false certainty, participants will learn practical tools to build confidence and adaptability in the face of the unknown.

In this webinar we will:

  • Discuss the psychological impact of chronic uncertainty in academia.
  • Learn strategies to build emotional resilience and reduce the grip of doubt and worry.
  • Learn to embrace flexibility and adaptability as strengths in an unpredictable career landscape.
