Description

Effective networking is a core skill for navigating both academic environments and careers beyond research. 

In this workshop, participants explore the fundamental principles of networking and learn how to create and implement a personal networking strategy. Through practical exercises and exchange, participants discover how to build and sustain meaningful connections — both online and offline — that support their career goals and professional visibility.

Trainer

Dr. Cornelia Altenburg is a historian who did research on scientific policy advice and, as a postdoc, on political commissions. Since 2015, she conducts seminars and workshops for researchers but also for public authorities, e.g. ministries or the Bundestag and in industry.
