Are you an early postdoctoral researcher interested in expanding your international research network? Join us for an information session on the Research Explorer Ruhr (RER) program, a fully funded opportunity that supports international postdocs in spending two weeks in the Ruhr area of Germany during the summer.
Through RER, participants are get in touch with a host professor at one of the three universities of the University Alliance Ruhr—Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University, or the University of Duisburg-Essen—to explore potential research collaborations and develop joint project proposals.
In addition to networking opportunities and lab visits, the program includes professional workshops on writing competitive third-party funding proposals, helping you strengthen your grant writing skills and prepare for future international funding applications.
This session will provide an overview of the program, including eligibility, application tips, travel funding, and what to expect during your stay. Don’t miss your chance to take the first step toward a future research stay in Germany!
