We also support the careers of the Junior Faculty through individual one on one coaching sessions, in which individual topics that are addressed in our other offerings such as info sessions and short workshops can be dealt with in greater depth. Each member of the Junior Faculty can take advantage of an individual one on one coaching session on topics such as appointment, strategic career planning, leadership or mentoring (duration 1 hour). We will find an external coach for you who will coach you for your career topic.

The Junior Faculty group includes academics from all disciplines at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, TU Dortmund University and the University of Duisburg-Essen who lead a junior research group, hold a junior professorship, have habilitated or are actively working on a habilitation.
